Summary of Resposibilities:
If you are a licensed civil engineer or surveyor or working towards licensure, love technology, and want to work with a great team of people in a dynamic and fun environment, then this job is the perfect fit for you. We provide you with the latest in civil/surveying/GIS software and you get to be among the first in the industry to play with it. Duties include training/consulting/and technical support for Autodesk's civil and surveying-focused software. Background should include work in the civil engineering or surveying utilizing AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop, Civil Design, and Survey. Civil 3D experience is a plus. Our focus is to find team members who know the civil engineering profession very well, with some knowledge of the software and presentation skills. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consulting with clients to understand existing workflow and develop solutions to those design technology needs.
- Conduct professional training, solution implementation, and client presentations.
- Delivering phone, email, and web-based to support to civil engineering and surveying clients.
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- PE, EIT, or PLS preferred
- Must have 2 years of civil design and drafting experience.
- AutoCAD or Land Development Desktop experience required. Civil 3D experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Must be interested in design technology software and its impact on the design/engineering community.
