Position: Account Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA, San Jose, CA

 

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing of territory sales strategy
  • Managing of the sales cycle from lead generation through close and post-close implementation services
  • Assessing customer needs and solving their problems by providing software/consulting solutions
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for our clients by establishing long-term partnerships
  • Consistent forecasting of revenue through skilled lead identification and qualification
  • Maintaining detailed notes of all client communications within our CRM database

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of high tech software and consulting services sales experience
  • A proven track record of consistent quota attainment or overachievement of sales targets
  • Successful solution selling with a focus on selling consulting services
  • Management of cross group relationships within company, i.e. IT, Engineering
  • Closing deals greater than $100k
  • Technically adept and able to quickly assimilate complex technical solutions
  • Multi-level selling skills, with the ability to get to the C-level
  • Strong networking skills
  • Exemplary presentation skills with previous experience of demonstrating software solutions to both executives and technical audiences
  • Being a strong team player across the related internal business functions
  • Participated in formal sales training programs such as TAS, SPIN, or Miller-Heiman

  • Passionate about the products and services and the love to sell
  • Straightforward, honest, team player
  • Smart, flexible, diligent and professional – willing to work hard but have fun doing it.
  • Ability to learn and add value quickly
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and goal orientation
  • Willing to travel occasionally
