All courses offer a robust and highly interactive training experience without expensive travel costs or interruption to daily business operations, making e-Learning one of the most powerful training tools in the Ideate, Inc. education portfolio.

Class Length:  1.5 hrs from 11:30-1:00 pm
AIA Credit: Earn 1 AIA LU for each class.
Prerequisites: Previous AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP experience is necessary. Drafting, design, or engineering experience is a plus.

Display Configurations – The Magic of Display Manager

Display configurations give you ultimate control of the display of you’re A-Arch and A-MEP drawings at the push of a button, but ultimate control requires the ultimate understanding of display configurations, display sets and display representations. This session will walk you through setting up a few simple display configurations and reveal the magic behind the Display Manager. This session is for any user of AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP who has moderate experience with the software.

With AutoCAD MEP you can now make block-based MV Parts with Mass Elements instead of 3D Solids. We’ll look at how to take advantage of Mass Elements to create your model for your MV Parts. We will also cover how to create a new block-based MV Part step by step and we’ll cover how to add it to your catalog. We will also take a look at parametric part creation within AutoCAD MEP. The class will cover the methods involved in part creation and addition of additional sizes and properties to the parts.
