Ideate Assistance is an innovative program from Ideate, Inc. to help members of the AEC community become more employable in a challenging global job market. By offering free and low-cost access to sophisticated products and training, Ideate can help unemployed industry professionals expand skills and expertise in Building Information Modeling and Integrated Project Delivery.
How to Get Started
Ideate Assistance works in collaboration with the Autodesk® Assistance Program. To qualify, applicants must first enroll and be accepted in the Autodesk Assistance Program.
You must meet the following requirements for eligibility:
• Be over age 13
• Be currently unemployed, or a Military Veteran
• Have worked in the architecture, engineering or design community
• Complete online application, including personal contact information, and industry
• Specify departure date from former employer, employer name and HR contact information.

Classroom Training
Ideate is offering classroom training at our Authorized Training Center facilities at a 50% discounted price for Autodesk Assistance Program members.
• First, be registered with Autodesk Assistance www.autodesk.com/assistance
• Then, email a Training Request to assist@ideateinc.com.Classroom training is subject to scheduling and availability.
Free Online Training
Ideate offers online training that is live and pre-scheduled (specific dates/times) for Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
In addition to classroom training being offered by Ideate, Autodesk is also offering complimentary access to Autodesk University Virtual. Autodesk Assistance Program members can register for FULL ACCESS (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to Autodesk product training – FREE, including more than 1,000 sessions and handouts. Tools allow you to set up a personalized learning path for tracking sessions of interest, and you can network with other AU Online members and send questions to AU speakers.
Discounted Certification Exams
Certification preparation and exams available at discounted rates through Ideate’s Authorized Certification Centers for:
• AutoCAD
• Autodesk Revit Architecture
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
Certification Hire/Rehire Incentive
Ideate Assistance Program participants who pass the professional level certification are eligible for a virtual coupon. The coupon value of $250 can be applied to Ideate Inc. services and/or products as an incentive for employers to hire or rehire.
Software Discounts
Commercial product discounts are available for select products exclusively for Autodesk Assistance Program members, or employers that hire them.
