Autodesk DWF: Opening the Door for Global Engineering Development Collaboration
In this IDC White Paper, IDC discusses the global pressures that are forcing business
process changes upon design and engineering companies as well as small, medium sized,
and large enterprises. These changes open the door to new opportunities as
well as threats of harsher competition. To succeed in this changing economic
environment, companies are beginning to form extended business networks within
manufacturing, infrastructure, and design-build. However, managing these often
global and multiple partnerships and work processes requires new technologies and
new tools.

Civil 3D 2006 - Sag and Crest Curves not Labeling Automatically
Depending on the style settings when a new Finished Ground Profile is created,
the sag and crest curves may not automatically label. Even more, if PVI’s (Point
of Vertical Intersection) are added or removed, new labels may also not appear
automatically. In order to add labels to an existing Sag curve, follow the steps
below.
Right click on the profile and go to Edit Labels. From Type (top left corner) select
Sag Curve. In the Profile Sag Curve Label line dropdown right next to it, select the
style and click the Add button to the right of this dropdown. Click Ok and all sag
curves will now be labeled based on the style you selected. This same procedure
should also be used to label crest curves.
Once these labels for sag and crest curves
are “turned on,” any future curves added
to the line will be automatically labeled.
