Author: Eugene O'Day Revit, Revit Structure

In Revit Structure 2015, users now have the ability to add reinforcement to concrete parts. Surface elements such as concrete floors and walls that have been created into parts now can possess rebar cover and can host rebar, rebar sets, area reinforcement, and fabric reinforcement. Additionally, if the need arises that the part needs to be updated the rebar will follow the parts shape and changes.

A new read-only parameter “Host Category” has been created for structural rebar. This new parameters is available for filters only.  Enabling building schedules and view graphics to filter by Floors, Parts, Walls, etc.
