Here’s a quick tip to help troubleshoot software crashes.
- Use Windows’ Event Viewer to shed light on the crash in Control Panel> System and Security> Administrative Tools.
- Click Event Viewer.
- On the left pane expand Windows Logs and select Application.
- In the top middle pane scroll down to the date and time of the event.
In this case I found a Revit crash pertaining to a .NET error.
