Having trouble finding Revit® Family Folders? This could be why:

From Revit, you see that the path to finding Revit Family Folders is:

But what if you go to Windows2_OS and ProgramData isn’t visible?

This usually means that the folder is hidden. It’s an easy fix. Here are the steps:

  1. From the Start menu, search for “Folder Options”
  2. Select the “View” tab
  3. Click “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”
  4. Click “Apply” and “OK”

Locate Hidden Family Files

Now, the folders in your C drive will show ProgramData.
