Classroom Training Frequently Asked Questions
What are your class hours?
Standard classes run from 9am-5pm (PST) on each of the scheduled days. Students are given 2 short breaks and a full hour for lunch.
What is your cancellation policy?
Ideate training purchases are non-refundable although we are happy to reschedule class reservations within the noted cancellation period: You may postpone your class reservation and receive a credit towards future training when notifying us at least ten (10) business days before the first day of class. If you fail to inform us on time, you will forfeit your paid class tuition.
What do I need to bring with me to class?
Ideate provides the necessary systems and software for classroom training. Therefore, students do not need to bring their own laptops or have access to personal licenses of the featured software. However, we do recommend bringing a USB or thumb drive with you to class if you would like to save your work.
Do your courses qualify for Continuing Education Credits?
Many courses qualify for professional development hours (PDHs) under AIA guidelines. Ideate does not report CEU credits to State licensing boards; students may self-report class participation but licensing requirements vary by state and our courses may not qualify.
What will I receive upon completion of this course?
After filling out a class survey, students will receive a certificate of course completion from Autodesk. Please note that this does NOT certify you in the product but rather serves as proof of attendance. As part of our Fundamentals courses, students receive multiple post training resources including 90 day trial access to CADLearning (Ideate’s eLearning portal).
Will Ideate be providing lunch?
Ideate is happy to provide light snacks and coffee during class breaks. However, students are responsible to bring or purchase their own lunch. There are multiple restaurant options in proximity to our offices or students are welcome to use our kitchenette facilities including microwave and refrigerator.
