This live virtual course covers the basics of Autodesk Revit Architecture. Learn about the concepts of Building Information Modeling and the tools for parametric building design and documentation. Walk through the steps to create, modify, and document the parametric models. This interactive course includes hands-on exercises building on daily discussion topics in the creation of an architectural building model.

Revit Architecture Fundamentals (Online)
  • Basic CAD experience (recommended but not required)
  • Architectural design, drafting, or engineering experience
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and basic computer skills
  • In order to participate in this course, students must meet all Online Education Guidelines

Objective: This course will provide students with a thorough understanding of basic BIM concepts and the skills needed to streamline the design process through the use of a coordinated Revit model. To ensure confidence in your new skills, we extend your training with 90 days of free follow-up support on all class material.

Scheduling: This training course will be conducted over 5 (4-hour) virtual sessions. Each class will start on the noted date and continue for 4 additional sessions. Sessions are generally scheduled from 9am-1pm (PST). Please note that class times are noted in Pacific Standard Time. Please email for confirmation of exact class dates.

Location: Online
Course will be presented in a virtual classroom using Adobe Connect. Students must have access to the class version of the software and meet noted system requirements. All students will need a wired USB computer headset with microphone for audio connection.
